LEWCO Inc. recently developed and delivered a custom Multiple Powered Pop-Up Transfer Conveyor with Chain Driven Live Roller Conveyor for a leading manufacturer of Appliances. Along with the Pop-Up Transfer, LEWCO also constructed a “Pivoting” Chain Driven Live Roller Conveyor setting up two work stations.
The Customer has a mold entering and exiting a LEWCO Custom Oven. The Pop-Up Transfers allow for the mold to enter and exit the oven without human interaction, solving a major safety concern. Once the mold exits the oven it then travels down to a Custom “Pivoting” Chain Driven Live Roller Conveyor. At this point, there are two work stations. The Pivot Conveyor Rotates and allows for the product to be released from the mold and on to the assembly line. Next, the Conveyor rotates back into the mainline conveyor where the mold moves to its last work station. Here the mold is filled and transferred using another Powered Pop-Up Transfer Conveyor back to the beginning line, therefore completing the loop cycle.
