DESIGN ENGINEER I       

 LEWCO, Inc., a World Class industrial equipment manufacturer, continues to grow and is adding experienced Design Engineers with solid technical abilities.  You will be responsible for designing equipment such as industrial ovens, heat processing equipment, and material handling equipment. The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements: minimum 2 year degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology or related field of study, 3-5 years of mechanical design experience, and 2-3 years experience with Solidworks 3D design or equivalent solid modeling software.  Also applicable to our work environment is experience with electrical controls, fabricated sheet metal techniques, and use of Microsoft Office. Familiarity with PDM Works, Visual Basic or.NET computer programming is a plus as well as experience with process heating or material handling equipment. Candidates should be capable of handling multiple tasks in a fast paced environment.  The ability to work well as part of a team and communicate technical concepts effectively is also expected.
