LEWCO Robot Palletizing Conveyor System

- Tuesday, September 6, 2016

Recently, LEWCO utilized multiple products to provide Case and Pallet Handling Conveyor for a Robot Palletizing System.  This system included multiple zones of 24V MDR Case Conveyors with bump turns and pushers to arrange and locate the cases for the robot interface.  Pallets were dispensed from LEWCO’s newly developed Pallet Dispenser, and accurately located with pneumatic actuated pop up blade stops, and a pneumatic actuated pallet crowder.  The combination of Chain Driven Live Roller, and Multi-Strand Chain Conveyor, transport the pallets through the system, managing direction changes that affect the orientation of the bottom boards on the pallet.  LEWCO provided VFDs and Sensors, mounted and wired to junction boxes to interface with the customer’s supplied system controls.

LEWCO offers a quality product that is cost effective and built to the highest industry standards. Reduction in manual material handling, improved product flow, better ergonomics and elimination of shipping damage are just some of the benefits of this well-designed LEWCO conveyor system.
