LEWCO, Inc. Announces New Logo

(July 9, 2007, Sandusky, Ohio) -- Ron Guerra, president of LEWCO, Inc., recently announced a new corporate logo and brand image for the 88-year old company located in Sandusky, Ohio.

“Originally, we were known as Lake Erie Welding Company, and built our business doing job shop welding and fabricating specialty products for industry,” said Guerra.  “Over time, we’ve evolved into a manufacturer of two products lines, material handling conveyor equipment and industrial process ovens. The acronym, LEWCO, is one that we and our customers have been using for years, and honors our history and reputation, while being more inclusive of future growth.”

The new logo incorporates the LEWCO name and a graphic element that illustrates a conveyor line, and the flame of the process ovens. A flame is symbolic of lighting the way for new direction and progress, while the conveyor symbol depicts movement and advancement. In honoring the past, the logo remains a familiar LEWCO blue, while incorporating a dynamic orange for a more modern feel.

“Our customers and the public will begin to see the new logo on all correspondence and marketing materials from LEWCO,” added Guerra. “We are excited about this new step forward in the growth of our company.”
