LEWCO, Inc. Acquires the Assets of the
Hemsath Corporation
(April 16, 2009, Sandusky, Ohio) LEWCO, Inc. recently
announced the acquisition of the primary business assets of Hemsath
Corporation, a well respected manufacturer of industrial furnaces and
furnace parts. The acquisition of the Hemsath Corporation’s assets adds
to the growing products in LEWCO’s process heating equipment line.
Hemsath Corporation, in
business since 2002, included the well known names of Lee Wilson and
Thermotech, with capabilities including vacuum, bell annealing, furnace
parts, computer and PLC
control systems,
radiant tubes, as well as fabrication for other furnace manufacturers.
The furnaces types manufactured by Hemsath Corporation included bell
furnaces, vacuum furnaces and custom atmosphere furnace designs, in
addition to parts such as radiant tubes and alloy fabrications. Mark
Hemsath, principal owner of Hemsath Corporation, has joined the sales
staff at LEWCO, Inc., to provide continuity and expertise for the new
furnace line.
LEWCO, Inc. is conveniently located in north central
Ohio with a 165,000 sq. ft. facility housing a complete professional
staff of sales, engineering and skilled trades personnel, as well as the
most modern metal manufacturing equipment available. LEWCO manufactures
a material handling product line that includes conveying equipment, and
a complete line of industrial process ovens for drum heating, curing,
drying and a variety of industrial thermal processing applications.
